Jump Little Children is on its last tour. They recently released their final album, Foundering without the Bevins brothers. It’s pretty good and different from their previous releases. Their songs have a very produced feel to them. One of them Dear Son has a Pink Floyd sound. I’m not here to do a review, but it’s a definite turn from their previous stuff.
We saw them for the first time in 2001 or 2002. They have all gotten older, as we all have. I wonder if Matt was still with them, if it would have had more energy. They still put on a great show, though. We saw them at Cat’s Cradle and will be able to see them one more time in about two weeks at Lincoln Theater.
So long, I’m going to go listen to Magazine again.
